The P89V664FA, a drop-in replacement for the discontinued P89C66X mcu in the GPC1 board, is available now at Digi-Key. The major change is the addition of SPI and second I2C channels on Port 4. Some Port 4 pins are connected to power and ground on the GPC1 board so these pins should be left in the input mode. See the GPC1 Design Review for more information. Mon, July 24, 2006
