The P89V664FA, a drop-in replacement for the discontinued P89C66X mcu in the GPC1 board, is available now at Digi-Key. The major change is the addition of SPI and second I2C channels on Port 4. Some Port 4 pins are connected to power and ground on the GPC1 board so these pins should be left in the input mode. See the GPC1 Design Review for more information.
